Job Description.
We are looking for a competent, confident, and performance-oriented professional to work as an IT NETWORK MANAGER.
The candidate will be primarily responsible for ensuring the development and continuous operation of appropriate information technology systems for the organization.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Monitoring network performance and tracking network usage to report on system load, utilization, and response
- Performing diagnostic analysis of the network
- Planning and implementing network upgrades to reach peak performance.
- Identifying and resolving control gaps or network faults/defects.
- Responding to Network Cybersecurity Threats
- Ensure that the network and security equipment are up to date with the latest firmware.
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors for network-specific products and services.
- Documenting network and security policies.
Required Skill or Experience
Education / Experience
- University degree in computer engineering, computer science, information systems, or a related discipline.
- Professional qualifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) may also be beneficial.
- Minimum of three years of work experience.
SPECIAL AND PERSONAL ABILITIES
- Excellent written and vocal communication abilities, as well as the ability to communicate complicated technical knowledge in a clear and succinct manner to a wide range of audiences.
- Strong analytical problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to flourish in an unclear and fast-paced IT environment while also inspiring teammates.
- Experienced with making data-driven judgments.
