• Job Title: Security Operations Manager
• Department: Operations Reports Directly to: General Manager
• Duty Station: Accra

JOB SUMMARY

A reputable private security company with Head Office located in Accra with branches in some parts of the country seeks the services of a Security Operations Manager. The successful candidate shall be responsible for screening, recruitment, training, deployment, supervision and writing of monthly reports of the activities of guards and the clients.

He shall also be responsible for managing a large number of security personnel across the country, including guards’ absenteeism management, discipline and grievance procedures, and client’s satisfaction. He shall liaise with public Law Enforce ment Agencies including Ghana Police Services etc. to deliver on the core job,

QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS:

• A good bachelor’s degree in any field, preferably Business Administration.
• Or a professional certification in physical security management such, as PSP from ASIS International.
• Prior experience in public law enforcement field (Police or Military) will be an added advantage.
• Proven experience of two (2) years in a managerial role in security guards management in Ghana.
• Ability to conduct risk/threat/vulnerability assessments and make right recommendations
• Ability to effectively interact with clients and handle difficult customers.
• Organizational & interpersonal Skill: the successful applicant should be able to coordinate and direct the security operations of an organization and be able to work with a team of large number of security officers to ensure the protection of life and property.
• Have strong observational and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to multitask and excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications.
• Must possess excellent security/investigative report writing skills
• Have strong compassion for client’s satisfaction and empathize with the business.
• Effective communication and leadership skills to ensure smoothly running of the Operations Department.
• Must have defensive driving skills with a valid driver’s license.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Firstly, Screening, recruitment, training, orientation, deployment, supervision and submission of monthly reports of the activities of security personnel and clients to the office of the General Manager.
• Secondly, Enforce various client’s security protocols, policies, and procedures, as well as Service Level Agreement necessary for safeguarding life and property.
• Thirdly, Planned client engagement to take complaints/feedback from clients
• Moreover, Assign Supervisors and Commanders daily operational duties to monitor and ensure security personnel are effective on their job.
• Additionally, Keep track of incidents in order to evaluate them and recommend a course of action.
• Then, Oversee the planning and coordination of security operations during high-risk events.
• Also, Conduct risk/ threat/ vulnerability assessments as and when necessary.
• More so, Conduct periodic scheduled and unscheduled security patrols.
• Finally, These and other duties that will be assigned to you by the CEO from time to time.
