We are searching for a hands-on Sales Specialist to join our Bolt Food team in Ghana. You’ll be responsible for driving sales growth, contacting potential partners, pitching, negotiating, and closing deals for small and medium-sized accounts.

About the Role

As a Sales Specialist, your major task will be to contact and develop connections with restaurant partners to reach mutually profitable agreements.

After forming a partnership, you will help to ensure a smooth transition for the restaurant to the Operations and Account Management teams, ensuring a comfortable onboarding experience.

Primary tasks and responsibilities:

  • Managing the sales funnel, which includes processing leads, prospecting, cold calling, scheduling meetings, negotiating, and completing deals.
  • Being the first point of contact for new partners, leading them through the onboarding process, resolving any operational or administrative concerns, and ensuring excellent account management to maximize commercial results.
  • Working directly with the Operations team to ensure smooth partner activations, and with the Account Management team to help restaurants expand on our platform.
  • To create a thorough history, track all sales actions, including emails, calls, and next steps, in the Customer Relation Management (CRM) tool.
  • Meeting growth objectives by boosting sales and maintaining strong connections with our partners.

About You:

  • You have at least one year of experience in sales or a related subject, preferably in the food delivery sector.
  • You are fluent in English and the local language (Twi or Ga), with excellent communication, negotiation, and teamwork abilities.
  • You have an analytical approach and a strong understanding of how to use a set of data management tools, as well as expertise working with a CRM.
  • You thrive in a fast-paced atmosphere, effortlessly conquering challenges and rapidly adapting to change.
  • Your hands-on work displays a high level of initiative in actively seeking answers to problems, as well as a strong feeling of responsibility.
