POSITION: Executive Support Assistant

Responsibilities

  • Manage executive schedules, which include meetings, conferences, and travel plans.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and statistics while also keeping track of meeting files, records, and correspondence.
  • Manage confidential information with integrity and expertise.
  • Provide administrative support by composing and editing emails, generating memoranda, and preparing messages on the executive’s behalf.

Requirements

The candidate must be a dynamic and adaptable individual with a strong awareness of the UN system, humanitarian issues, and/or foreign relations who can contribute to the work of the Head of Office. The incumbent will report directly to the Head of Office in Ghana, with daily collaboration on a variety of topics and responsibilities. The ideal candidate will be at ease working in a fast-paced and reactive atmosphere, with the abilities and ability to assist with revising reports, developing material, and delivering presentations, as well as being proficient in Microsoft Office.

Standard Job Description

Required Languages: English

Additional Qualifications and Skills

Education: Requirements include a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Liberal Arts and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Liberal Arts.

Other information: This position does not require functional clearance.
