POSITION: Sanitation Technology Engineer Manager

About The Role

The business development manager is in charge of establishing and maintaining strong business relationships with direct and corporate clients, as well as driving sales and profitability by prospecting and selling the company’s insurance policies to existing and new clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sell the company’s products to individual, corporate, and institutional customers.
  • Meet monthly and annual premium targets for new business and renewals of existing accounts.
  • Initiate and cultivate relationships with corporations and individuals in order to generate business in accordance with agreed-upon targets.
  • Recommend modifications to increase efficiency, profitability, growth, and the quality of the given book of business while reducing unsuitable risks.
  • Examine segment profit/growth outcomes and trends, and provide action strategies to achieve profitable underwriting results.
  • Analyze qualitative and quantitative data from corporate and institutional clients to obtain permission for risk selection, acceptance, coverage, and pricing. Ensure that policy transactions (quotes, new business, endorsements, renewals, post-loss, cancellations) are issued and modifications are recorded correctly and timely.
  • Interact often with corporate, institutional, and individual clients, providing fast and professional customer service.
  • Provide monthly reports on achievements, pending issues, concerns, and suggested recommendations in accordance with agreed-upon timelines and formats.
  • Comply with all processes, policies, and procedures while identifying areas for improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, insurance, or a similar industry.
  • A minimum of 5 years of sales experience, including leading sales teams.
  • Proven salesperson with a track record of hitting sales targets.
  • Outstanding prospecting and relationship management skills.
  • Good product knowledge, as well as basic rating principles and risk assessment.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and negotiating skills.
  • Effective communication abilities (including writing and presenting skills)
  • Good computer abilities, particularly in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
