Job Opportunity at a Rural Bank
Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons to fill the vacant position of ‘FIELD OFFICER‘ in a leading rural bank in the Eastern Region.
General Purpose
The Field Officer shall plan, implement and evaluate the Bank’s Microfinance Programme, resulting in the creation and expansion of business.
Job Description
- Identify communities and groups
- Assist in training and formation of groups Appraise loans for disbursement
- Monitor and collection of savings and repayments
- Review and reconciliation of all records
- Prepare field reports for review by the Microfinance Coordinator
- Assist in reviewing all control registers
Qualification & Experience
A minimum of HND in Agribusiness, Marketing or a related discipline A minimum of two (2) years work experience in the same or similar role in the banking sector
Competencies & Skills
- In-depth knowledge in Microfinance
- Appreciable customer service orientation with good human relations
- Ability to ride motorbike, and possess a valid licence
- Must be computer literate, with proficiency in T24 banking software and Microsoft office suite
- Self-motivated, analytical & attentive to details
- Demonstrate high standards of integrity, professionalism & adheres to ethical standards
- Good numeracy and coordination skills
