ROLE: Sales Agronomist
Job Description
Reports to: General/Regional Manager or his delegate
Roles and responsibilities
- The officer will do pre-sales consultations with distributors to set up on-farm demonstrations of the company’s products and technologies.
- He or she will also make sure that the farmers understand the value of these things and can use them on their own with little help.
- Will work with distributors, stockists, and dealers to make sure that farmers can get these products and technologies through these channels at the right time, in the right amount, and for the right price.
Skills or Experience
- Minimum of Second Class Upper in a degree from one of Ghana’s universities in Agronomy, Crop Science, Soil Science, Agricultural Economics, and/or Extension.
- The best person for the job should be younger than 25.
- The person we want to hire should be able to live and travel in any part of Ghana.
- Being fluent in more than one of Ghana’s main languages and at least one year of experience in a similar position will be an advantage.
