Job Overview
He/she manages procurement activities and guarantees adherence to procurement laws and regulations.
Duties
- Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies.
- Find lucrative suppliers and establish collaborations with businesses and organizations.
- Engage with external suppliers to obtain favourable conditions.
- Authorize the procurement of essential products and services.
- Complete order and delivery purchase specifics.
- Review and evaluate current agreements.
- Monitor and document essential operational metrics to cut costs and enhance efficiency.
- Work together with essential individuals to guarantee an understanding of the company’s specifications and expectations.
- Anticipate changes in the relative bargaining power of suppliers and customers.
- Anticipate negative occurrences by examining data and developing management plans.
- Conduct risk assessment for supply contracts and agreements.
- Manage expenses and foster a culture of sustainable savings on purchasing costs.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management or Procurement
- Licensed expert from recognized organizations
- 5 to 10 years of expertise
- Skill in making decisions and handling numbers
- Expertise in gathering and examining data
- Robust leadership skills
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, or business administration.
