POSITION: Loan Officer (Kumasi Only)
Company Overview
Morrit Micro-Credit Enterprise is an authorized money lending company. At present, we work in Kumasi. Our operations have been ongoing since 2017.
Our aim is to establish a reputable financial institution in Ghana recognized for reliably delivering prompt and effective financial services while also bolstering the entrepreneurial skills of micro business proprietors.
Major Duties
This position requires the creation and upkeep of a loan client portfolio.
- Obtaining new borrowing clients for the organization.
- Performing appraisals of loan applications in accordance with the credit standards of the institution.
- Overseeing loans and handling cases of loan repayment defaults when necessary.
- Consult with loan applicants to determine their requirements and gather information for loan applications.
- Regularly examine active loan files and suggest measures to expedite the loan process.
- Finalize loan agreements and educate clients about policies and regulations.
- Interview candidates to determine financial qualifications and create debt repayment strategies.
- Oversee and revise account documentation.
- Timely submission of loan applications is required.
- Draft comprehensive loan proposals.
- Deny loan requests and clarify shortcomings to applicants.
- Address applicants’ inquiries and solve any problems related to loans.
- Function in accordance with legal statutes and guidelines.
Essential Skills or Experience
- Candidate must live in Kumasi.
- Effective communication and sales abilities
- Strong analytical abilities
- Effective time management abilities
- Capability to operate a computer
- Because of our client demographic, candidates must be capable of speaking twi fluently.
