POSITION: Mechanical Technician
Our customer is Ghana’s top pharmaceutical company. The organization is now looking for a hands-on Mechanical Technician to carry out GMP-compliant repairs and installations while also ensuring adequate documentation.
Key Accountabilities
- To install plant and equipment.
- Follow corrective and preventative maintenance plans for equipment, machines, and installations to ensure proper operation of the company’s processes.
- Perform basic repairs and maintenance.
- Participate in the execution of qualification activities for the equipment and installations under their control under the annual qualification plan.
- Participate in the execution of activities for the implementation of new installations and/or updates to existing ones, when done with ECL’s resources.
- Oversee the execution of new installations and/or adjustments to existing ones performed by professionals from other companies, ensuring that they fulfill the agreed-upon requirements.
- Work together to configure and format the various manufacturing equipment as needed.
- Communicating to the maintenance supervisor the requirements for purchasing spare parts and consumables.
Qualifications & Experience
- NVTI certificate in Mechanical or Diploma in Mechanical (Plant)
- At least 3 years of experience in manufacturing or industrial installations and equipment.
