POSITION: Software Developer
A major member of the Technical Team is responsible for providing, maintaining, supporting, and advising personnel on an organization’s systems and facilities. Responsible for creating and deploying scalable and robust software solutions that fulfil the company’s requirements.
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and improve the company’s web and mobile applications.
- Assist Executive Team members in establishing, expanding, and developing a world-class, industry-leading organization.
- Drive corporate results from an operational and financial standpoint, collaborating closely with the COO, CEO, and other key Executive Team members.
- Spearhead work on the API engine, which handles millions of real-time requests.
- Set challenging but achievable goals for development, performance, and profitability.
- Help maintain the technology stack current and exciting.
- Provide accurate and timely reports that outline the company’s operational status.
- Support and advise various departments on their technology requirements and tools.
- Develop high-quality software and web apps.
- Analyze and maintain the existing software applications.
- Create highly scalable, tested code.
- Find and correct programming errors.
- Any additional obligations that may be allocated.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in computer science, engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of two (2) years of work experience.
- Experienced in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Sound knowledge of JavaScript (es6 is an advantage).
- Experience developing mobile applications with React Native.
- Knowledge and experience in HTML, CSS3, and SQL (PostgreSQL)
- Analytical/problem-solving talents
- Understanding the product and the user experience
