Job Title: Business Analyst

Main Duties:
Analysis of Business Requirements:
- Collect, assess, and record business needs associated with mobile money platforms, encompassing transactions, user interfaces, and customer experience.
- Work together with stakeholders (product managers, developers, and business teams) to guarantee that all requirements are well understood and recorded.
API Evaluation and Documentation:
- Examine and comprehend the APIs utilized in mobile money services, such as payment gateway connections, transaction APIs, and user authentication systems.
- Collaborate with technical teams to guarantee that API specifications meet business objectives and user requirements.
Documentation for Low-Level Design:
- Create comprehensive low-level design (LLD) documents that outline precise specifications for mobile app developers, covering user flow, database structure, API interactions, and system architecture.
- Make certain that design documents are precise, clear, and consistent with both business needs and technical viability.
Mobile Application Development Assistance:
- Offer assistance during the mobile app development lifecycle by elucidating business requirements and design elements as necessary.
- Serve as a bridge between business stakeholders and the development team to guarantee that the final product satisfies user requirements and expectations.
Testing and Quality Control:
- Help develop test plans and user acceptance testing (UAT) scenarios derived from business needs and design documentation.
- Collaborate with QA teams to confirm that the created solution operates effectively within the mobile money framework.
Ongoing Enhancement:
- Recognize chances for enhancing processes linked to mobile money services and the workflows of mobile application development.
- Keep current with trends and best practices in mobile payments and application development.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Information Technology, Computer Studies, or a related discipline.
- Experience: At least 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst specializing in mobile money solutions.
- Demonstrated expertise in assessing APIs and producing comprehensive technical documentation, particularly for mobile application development.
- Knowledge of mobile money services, including mobile payments, wallet solutions, mobile banking, and connections with financial institutions.
Skills Required
- Thorough comprehension of mobile money systems, APIs, and their integration with mobile applications.
- Skilled in utilizing tools like JIRA, Confluence, Microsoft Office Suite, and UML for documentation purposes.
- Skill in converting intricate business needs into concise technical specifications.
- Excellent communication abilities, capable of collaborating effectively with both technical and non-technical groups.
- Familiarity with mobile application development procedures, particularly agile methodologies, is an advantage.
Desired Qualifications:
- Familiarity with mobile application development frameworks (e.g., React Native, Flutter, Swift, Kotlin).
- Understanding of payment gateway providers and financial regulations related to mobile money.
