Ex-officio member of RuffTown Records, Ms. Forson who’s now with D Black’s Black Avenue Music most recently posited that she was forced to squash her marriage.
Ms. Forson told blogger Zionfelix in an interview that Bullet actually brainwashed her that marriage isn’t a thing for female artistes; hence she will not be successful with music if she is married.
Consequently, she dumped her man as in her rightful thinking, her music career comes first in whatever she does. After the shocking revelation, most Ghanaians failed to believe as Bullet remained silent.
But the good news is that Bullet who allegedly brainwashed Ms. Forson that marriage isn’t a thing for female artistes has finally opened up about the ongoing buzz. To him, managing a married female artiste isn’t part of his artistic management dictionary.
He made this disclosure on the Happy FM’s “Ayekoo After Drive” show with DJ Adviser when he said: “Our work is hectic. We sometimes work very late at night and we also travel a lot. In Africa, it is difficult to thrive as a female artiste that is why I do not like to manage married women”.
According to Bullet, however, Ms. Forson lied to him about her marital status and that was why he could not sign her onto the label.
“I only realized Ms. Forson was married after I had announced her at the VGMA awards night. As an artist, she had to disclose everything about herself before she could be signed onto the label. However, she lied that she was unmarried. I could not work with an artist who lied”, he said.
Logically, what it means is that Ms. Forson actually divorced her husband largely due to the Bullet’s counsel. Unfortunately, Ms. Forson after divorcing her husband couldn’t thrive in RuffTown Records for obvious reasons.
In other news, there is a waist beads challenge going on in Nigeria.
