POSITION: Growth Engineer

Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site employment as a Growth Engineer in Accra. As a Growth Engineer at GWO SEVO, your responsibilities will include driving user and revenue growth through data analysis, A/B testing, and experimentation. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify growth opportunities, implement growth strategies, and improve user acquisition and conversion. You will also use analytics tools and frameworks to evaluate data and generate insights to help drive growth initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Educational Qualifications: A bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, data science, or a related discipline
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Python, R), knowledge of A/B testing frameworks, and familiarity with growth hacking tools and processes.
- Analytical Mindset: Demonstrates strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to comprehend complex data and turn it into actionable insights.
- Expertise: Proven expertise in growth engineering or a related function, with a track record of successful growth initiatives.
- Adaptability: The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic workplace while responding to changing business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Analysis: Use data to better understand user behavior, find growth prospects, and inform decision-making processes.
- Experimentation entails creating, implementing, and managing tests (such as A/B testing) to validate growth hypotheses and improve user experiences.
- Product Development: Create and manage growth-oriented product features and tools to increase user engagement and promote business growth.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with the product development, marketing, and analytics teams to match growth initiatives with the overall business goals.
- Continuous Optimization: Monitor and optimize growth activities to ensure long-term progress and scalability. Use data to iterate and enhance your strategy over time.
- Growth plan: Help to establish and implement the overall growth plan, including identifying key performance indicators (KPIs) and setting quantifiable goals.
Preferred qualifications
- A Master’s degree in relevant fields.
- Industry Experience: Worked in high-growth industries such as telecoms, tech startups, e-commerce, and digital marketing.
- Project Management: Proficiency with project management tools and processes.
