The Ghana Grid Company (GRIDCO) will undertake maintenance work at its substation in Anwomaso. Gridco will therefore interrupt power supply to ECG in Ashanti Strategic Business Unit (SBU) on Saturday, 27th March, 2021 between 7:00am and 10:00am to enable them to work as scheduled.
In view of the above, electricity supply to the Greater Kumasi metropolis and its environs will be interrupted for about three hours (3hrs) in the morning to enable the repair works to be done.
Other areas that will be affected are: Ejisu, Juaben, Effiduasi, kumawu, Mampong. Nsuta, Agona, Offinso and surrounding areas.
ECG regrets the inconvenience that may arise as a result of this critical maintenance.
