- Position: Safety Officer
- Sector: Metals, Concrete & Construction Supplies
Main Duties:
- Create and execute safety regulations and protocols
- Perform risk evaluations, site examinations, and audits.
- Examine occurrences and suggest remedial measures
- Facilitate safety training sessions
- Verify adherence to all safety standards and keep records updated.
- Recognize and evaluate dangers, risks, and control strategies for a particular operation or procedure.
- Perform continuous evaluation of operations and procedures to detect possible hazards, risks, and control strategies that need to be adopted to mitigate these risks, encompassing all expenses associated with executing these measures.
- Evaluate and record hazards, risks, and controls in a way that aligns with recognized procedures and practices.
- Establishing and overseeing temporary work zones.
- Oversee the secure management, storage, and disposal of dangerous substances.
- Oversee the functioning of any possible risks in the work environment.
- Enhance workplace safety and boost employee efficiency by shifting from manual safety
Qualifications & Experience Required
- Qualification in Safety, Engineering, or a similar area
- NEBOSH / IOSH qualification (Required)
- At least 5 years of experience in industrial safety
- Solid knowledge of global and regional HSE regulations
