Fully funded Australia Awards Fellowships 2024
The Australian government’s Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade is sponsoring the Australia Awards Fellowships 2024, a flagship program, and applications are being accepted from adequately qualified individuals.
The Awards Fellowships are designed to enhance collaborations between Australian organizations and other partner organizations in order to create networks of leadership and impact. Additionally, it offers short-term possibilities for research, study, and professional development activities conducted throughout Australia.
Qualification Standards
The Australian organizations nominating fellows must make sure that each nominee satisfies the following general eligibility conditions in order for them to be eligible for the Australia Awards Fellowships: prerequisites:
- Be at least eighteen years old when the fellowship begins.
- Not be an Australian permanent resident; not be the spouse of someone who is or is applying for permanent residency in Australia
- Hold citizenship in a nation that qualifies.
- Not be active-duty members of the armed forces
- Fulfill all prerequisites set forth by the Department of Home Affairs for subclass 500 (DFAT-sponsored) student visas.
- Have the ability to take part in the fellowship.
- Be able to travel without family because DFAT will only support individual fellows’ visas; support letters for family members will not be provided.
- Fellows who need assistance due to a handicap must travel with a caregiver

Eligibility
Businesses, non-governmental organizations, and government institutions located in Australia are all able to apply. In order to fund fellowships, organizations must be legitimate businesses with an Australian business number, be able to show that they have connections to partner organizations in the participating nations, and be able to provide money in kind. People are unable to apply.

Note that proposals for Singapore, New Caledonia, French Polynesia, Brunei Darussalam, and New Caledonia will not be taken into consideration in Round 19.
Priority Subjects
The following six development priority areas must be in line with fellowship programs:
- Climate change, resilience, adaptation, and the shift to green energy
- Social inclusion, disability equity, and gender equality
- Health
- The digital economy, which includes media interaction, vital technology, and cyber
- The Blue Economy and Maritime Sector
- Application procedures for connectivity and infrastructure

To be considered for the Australia Awards Fellowships 2024, interested candidates must fill out an online application and submit it through Smartygrants. Submissions must be submitted by the deadline, as incomplete or late submissions will not be considered for evaluation.

Australian organizations can apply for funding through Australia Awards Fellowships to host and support a variety of professional development activities, such as study tours, work attachments, supervised research, management or leadership courses, program meetings, visits, or a combination of these.
The duration of a fellowship might range from two weeks to fifty-two weeks. A Fellowship’s adaptability is one of its strongest points. They include teaching Vietnamese government officials about coastal and marine sustainability and conservation, as well as providing specialized training to Timorese physicians working in the endoscopic sections of two prestigious Australian hospitals.
Type of Award

Fellowship Honor
Australian organizations may apply for financing for up to 15 Fellows, at a maximum of AUD $34,500 each, to pay the following expenses:
