Fully Funded|| 2023 University of Tokyo ADB Scholarship in Japan

Applications are invited from international students to apply for the 2023 University of Tokyo ADB scholarship in Japan. This is a fully funded scholarship program. It is funded by the Asian Development Bank.

Every year, the Asian Development Bank offers 300 scholarships to students. Interested applicants must apply for the ADB scholarship before they apply for admission at the University of Tokyo. Thus, once applicants are offered the scholarship, they can proceed to apply for admission.

Students who are interested in studying for their Master’s degree programs in any academic discipline should submit their applications now. Interested students are not required to pay any application fee.

Who Can Apply?

Interested applicants should meet the requirements below:

• Firstly, applicants should be a national of an ADB Member Country.
• Secondly, applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent with a good academic record.
• Also, a minimum of two (2) years of full-time professional working experience (this must be acquired after a university degree) at the time of application.
• Furthermore, applicants should not be more than 35 years old at the time of application. However, in the case of programs that are appropriate for senior officials and managers, the age limit is 45 years old.
• Moreso, applicants must agree to return to their home country after completing the program.
• Lastly, students applying for a master’s course must hold a bachelor’s degree from an accredited educational institution. This should be comparable to a bachelor’s degree offered at the University of Tokyo.
