A reputable Real Estate company based in Accra is seeking to recruit energetic, hardworking experienced, dedicated, and committed persons as Finance Managers.

Position Summary of Finance Manager

  • The role of the Finance Manager is to run the day-to-day operations of the real estate company’s financial activities.
  • Implement the financial strategy and manage the functional activities of the Finance department, as provided by the Management.
  • In addition, the role shall identify and implement systems, policies, and processes for the Finance department which will improve financial monitoring, accountability, and growth across Rehoboth Housing Limited.

Finance Manager Responsibilities:

  • Check the day-to-day financial operations within the company such as the payroll invoicing process suppliers’ invoices and other transactions.
  • Set up and manage General Ledger accounts
  • Maintain relevant cash books
  • Maintain records for the control of all valued books and consumable supplies
  • Develop operating guidelines for managing the Finance Office
  • Ensure prompt processing of bills, invoices, goods, and services.
  • Prepare profitability analysis on all projects on specific order costing
  • Prepare strategic plans, business plans, and Budgets
  • Prepare detailed proposals and tousers Development Financial institutions and towards raising of project funds.
  • Supervise monthly Reconciliadon Statements Banks Suppliers etc.
  • Prepare error-free Monthly and Quarterly Management Accounts and ensure they are ready, up-to-date, and on time.
  • Supervise year-end Statutory Audits and ensure that Audited Accounts are carried out on time.
  • Investigate ways to improve profitability and analyse markets for business opportunities such as expansion, growth, and acquisitions
  • Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements and ensure that all returns are filed on time. This includes
  1. Registrar General’s Annual Returns
  2. Pension Returns
  3. GRA tax Returns

EXPERIENCE, and QUALIFICATION of Finance Manager

Must be a member of a recognized Professional Accounting Body, CA, ACCA CRA) MBA (Finance) from an accredited university

At least ten (10) years post qualification with relevant work experience

Work experience in a bank/Financial institution will be an added advantage

KEY REQUIREMENT of Finance Manager

  • Skills in ICT with applicable knowledge of accounting software specially QuickBooks
  • Good presentation and organizational
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated and results-driven
  • Committed and dedicated to work
  • Must work with very little or no supervision
  • Good planner and team player
  • Be analytical, focused, and hardworking
