POSITION: Relationship Officer (RO)

Job Description.

Relationship Officers (ROs) are in charge of developing and maintaining good commercial connections with clients. Managing and increasing a client portfolio by cultivating effective relationships, as well as discovering and pursuing new business prospects with potential clients.

Responsibilities

A Relationship Officer’s responsibilities include:

• Developing and maintaining good client connections.
• Conducting needs assessments to better understand clients’ needs.
• Meeting and exceeding sales targets for goods and services.
• Maintaining accurate and current client records and interactions.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve the client experience.
• Keeping up with industry developments and changes.
• Negotiate and seal deals with new customers.
• Prepare and provide oral professional presentations to clients.
• Assist the project director in developing and implementing methods to increase brand awareness.

Required Skill or Experience

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in marketing, communication studies, business administration, human resources, political science, or a related discipline.
• Experience in customer service or relationship management is advantageous.
  Knowledge of Ghana’s service sector would be advantageous.
• Computer literacy in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Strong work ethics (reliable, honest)
• Excellent telephone manners.
• Very interpersonal skills.
• Confident and assertive.
• Results-driven and resourceful
