POSITION: Travel Associate
The Travel Associate’s responsibilities include aiding clients with their travel plans, such as arranging flights, hotels, and visas, as well as coordinating numerous travel-related services. This position necessitates great customer service skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a desire to travel. The Travel Associate will collaborate closely with clients to ensure memorable and hassle-free travel experiences.
Job Description
- Respond to any telephone inquiries about booking trip bookings.
- Help clients organize and book their trip arrangements, such as flights, hotels, vehicle rentals, tours, and other travel services.
- Provide expert advice and recommendations to clients based on their travel choices, budgets, and goals.
- Make bookings, issue tickets, and organize travel plans.
- Ensure that clients have all required travel documentation, such as passports, visas, and travel insurance.
- Cross-selling Wakanow items.
- Respond to client inquiries, complaints, and requests immediately and professionally by phone, email, or in-person meetings.
- Keep clients aware of any changes or disruptions to their travel plans, and help them rebook as needed.
- Promote travel packages, bargains, and special offers to clients in order to increase sales and revenue.
- Maintain compliance with all applicable travel restrictions, corporate policies, and industry standards.
Requirements
- Proficiency in using the GDS
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
- Travel agency experience
- Passion for travel.
- Ability to function well in a fast-paced and dynamic setting
