POSITION: Lubricants Sales Engineer
Profile of Candidate
- A graduate degree (second class upper division) in Chemistry or Engineering, preferably Mechanical, Chemical, or Petrochemical, with at least three years of industrial experience in Lubricants/Tribology.
- Performance monitoring and measurement capability, including ongoing KPI implementation and reporting.
- Strong desire for collaborating with a spirit of synthesis and prioritizing of efforts, allocation of critical resources, and curiosity in innovative solutions.
- Customer-oriented, with good communication abilities.
Activities
The job holder’s responsibilities include:
- Developing lubricant sales in the designated segments through:
- Developing commercial priorities and corresponding action plans following Bus and PLTsLubricants Reference for Business
- Use whatever digital tool made available, such as salsa, e-learning, and e-lube.
- Schedule visits to clients to offer lubricating solutions.
- Prospect for new lubricant clients, sign them up and monitor their accounts.
- Collaborate with the team to provide technical support for their lubricant prospecting operations.
- Follow up on competitors’ strategies to help LSM/LM develop an acceptable approach.
- Active participation in achieving margin and operational income targets:
- Responsible for delivering profitable sales and meeting margin targets on the front end.
- Provide lubricant technical support to customers, including technical visits, product recommendations, lube surveys, oil analyses, product upgrades, and identifying and implementing Continuous
- Prepare offers/proposals for new prospects using margin analysis.
Improve after-sales service through:
- Facilitation of frequent Lube training for clients. ….
- Prospect and sign-on ANAC consumers.
- Customers participate in seminars and other segment-specific marketing and communication efforts.
- Help the team organize a lubricant seminar for clients.
