POSITION: Depot Representative
JOB HOLDER REQUIREMENTS:
- A good first degree/B. Tech. in the humanities, engineering, and other fields.
- HND Engineering, Marketing, Purchasing, and Supply.
- Excellent knowledge of the oil business.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- A Person with Honest Character and Activities
The job holder is in charge of accounting for all products lifted from the Bolgatanga depot in accordance with the company’s sales and logistical requirements to ensure that the company meets its complete sales target.
AFETY:
- Ensure that all depot activities comply with the company’s health, safety, and environmental regulations. Within the depot activities, there were no fatalities or loss of time injuries.
- Before use, ensure that all scheduled trucks have passed the save-to-load inspection.
MAIN ACTIVITIES.
- Supervise the order and dispatch of product lifting from the depot to the customer’s site.
- Ensure early planning and scheduling of Released orders for shipping in accordance with SLA D+1 for the network, with daily adjustments from the AREA MANAGER.
- Ensure early order placement on the NPA portal to avoid loading delays.
- Before shipping, make sure that all products have been system invoiced and that all other sent paperwork has been completed.
- Record and keep a DISPATCH book to track all dispatches and returned documents on a daily basis.
- Daily lifting updates should be supplied to the Account daily.
- Ensure accurate stock accounting by reconciling with SAP and ERDMS.
- Ensure that PODs are conducted on all returned papers.
- Submit waybills to the Zonal Loading manager monthly.

Context and environment
- In Ghana, the petroleum downstream industry is somewhat deregulated, with Tema Oil Refinery (TOR) and Registered Bulk Importers serving as the primary suppliers.
- The demand side is dominated by three (3) important players: TEMG, VIVO, and Goil, as well as over 100 other independents.
- Key supply logistics infrastructure is owned by the government, with the RBI beginning to establish its depots.
- Lubricants are blended locally at Tema Lube Oil Company, a joint venture between TotalEnergies, VIVO, Goil, and SSNIT.
- However, lubricant imports are permissible by law. Ghana’s supply mix is variable, with inherent opportunities and dangers.
