We are looking for a proactive and experienced Business Development Manager to drive growth and expansion in our agricultural tools and implements business, as well as our power tools division.

The Business Development Manager will be in charge of developing new business prospects, establishing strategic relationships, and driving revenue growth through effective sales and marketing tactics.

Responsibilities:

  • Create and implement strategic business development plans to increase market share and revenue growth in the agricultural tools and implements industry, as well as the power tools segment.
  • Identify and prioritize significant target markets, client segments, and industry verticals for future business development efforts.
  • Develop and maintain good relationships with current customers, distributors, dealers, and strategic partners in order to optimize sales potential and promote long-term loyalty.
  • Identify and prospect for new clients, distributors, and business partners using networking, cold calling, and other lead generating tactics.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to detect new trends, competition actions, and customer demands, then use those findings to influence product development and marketing plans.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams from sales, marketing, product development, and operations to ensure that business development initiatives are aligned with the company’s goals and objectives.
  • Create and execute captivating sales presentations, proposals, and pitches to new clients and partners, emphasizing the unique value proposition of our products and services.
  • Negotiate and complete agreements, contracts, and partnerships with customers, distributors, and suppliers to ensure that the terms and conditions are mutually beneficial.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance data like as revenue, profit margins, market share, and customer happiness, then create action plans to meet sales targets and objectives.
  • Stay current on industry trends, market dynamics, and regulatory needs in the agricultural tools and implements industry, as well as the power tools section, and make strategic recommendations to executive management.

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, agriculture, or a related discipline is required, with a master’s degree recommended.
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in business development, sales, or marketing, ideally in the agricultural equipment and implements industry or the power tools area.
  • Proven track record of boosting revenue and market share through smart business development efforts and excellent sales and marketing tactics.
  • Strong knowledge of the agriculture sector, including farming procedures, equipment, and machinery, as well as experience with power tools and associated businesses.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to establish rapport and effectively negotiate with clients, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and effectively in a team setting to achieve shared goals and objectives.
  • Analytical thinking, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to evaluate data and market insights to make informed decisions.
  • Proven ability to handle many projects and priorities while meeting deadlines and producing high-quality results.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM applications.
  • Willingness to travel as necessary to meet with clients, partners, and attend industry events and conferences.
