POSITION: Technical Coordinator
Qualifications Required
- EXPERIENCE: Technical expertise in metallurgy and extrusion, with a focus on continuous process and tool improvement.
- Qualification: 1st Degree
Key Responsibilities
KPI rollout and follow-up.
- The implementation and formalization of standards and processes
- Understand the formalization and transmission to the teams.
- Work in teams.
Project Management – Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment.
- Is in charge of the safety of all employees and visitors to the production facility.
- Takes any necessary efforts to improve security or notifies his management of safety concerns.
- Respects and enforces quality, safety, health, and environmental norms in all aspects of his daily activities.
Management & Leadership
- Leads and motivates teams or workgroups to achieve project goals.
- Provides clear direction and sets expectations for teams.
- Reporting on project status, issues, and outcomes
- Schedule regular team meetings to discuss accomplishments, obstacles, and solutions.
Technical
- Define or update the BOM and processes for standard and new products.
- Update criteria for costing new and old items.
- Manage and monitor the homologation process for new raw materials.
- Manage and monitor the homologation procedure for all new finished goods.
- Define and update the machine and product technical standards that will be used by production teams.
- Assist the manufacturing team with all technical difficulties concerning products and machines, including the selection of the appropriate tools.
- Manage cost reduction efforts such as material usage, OEE, and productivity.
- Supports the production manager in improving production performance by coordinating production oversight.
