To lead the growth in our successful Middle East & Africa Business, we currently looking for a Sales & Business Development Manager who wants to be part of our engaged team, based in Zug, Switzerland.

What are your new duties?
- Identify and evaluate new business opportunities and growth areas in close collaboration with our existing partner network as well as with new partners and customers.
- Plans and makes sure that sales volumes, customer visits, and strategic activities for our Fire Safety, Building Automation, and Connected Devices are met in the countries they are responsible for.
- Spots and develop opportunities and prospects in CRM Systems
- Acting as a customer ambassador, coordinate all customer-related topics (e.g. technical training, cash collection, etc.) with the relevant support departments
- Contribute to smooth cooperation with Siemens local organizations, other units and sales channels by joint, goal-oriented actions
- Works with the back office and other professionals and management to coordinate and negotiate proposals.
- With an account-oriented sales approach, develop high-potential customers who can be sent to the channel.
Your skills and experience
- Higher education in a technical field, economics, or sales, or a lot of experience in sales is the same as higher education
- Able to make a business plan for an account that puts all customer information in one overview
- You have done business in Africa before, so you know about the risks and opportunities in this area.
- Ideally, you possess sound knowledge of building technology businesses (portfolios, sectors, key players), good knowledge on comfort portfolio and basic knowledge of logistic solutions is a valuable add on
- With your confident, networking and relationship-building personality, you can exercise influence in multicultural environments in an ethical and responsible manner
- Willingness to travel up to 30 % to your assigned geography (when international travel restrictions do not apply anymore) (when international travel restrictions do not apply anymore)
- Languages: You must be able to speak English and French. It’s nice to have German on top.
