Students pursuing a master’s or doctoral degree may work more than 48 hours per week.

Additionally, the length of the visa’s validity depends on the type of degree they use to find employment: 2 years for those with a bachelor’s, 2 to 3 years for those with a master’s, and 4 years for those with a doctorate.
In contrast, the graduate work stream visa allows the graduate and their family to work, reside, travel, and study in Australia for 18 months. They must have graduated within the last six months. Eligibility for this visa is not based on qualifications, as individuals can apply even if they have a degree less than a bachelor’s. However, in order to obtain the visa, individuals must first pass a competence assessment in an occupation on the Australian Skilled Occupations list.
Subclass 402: Training and Research Visa
Subclass 442 is an additional option for overseas graduates. It attempts to improve graduates’ job skills for up to two years. It necessitates the work owner’s sponsorship.
Subclass 487: Skilled Regional Sponsored Visa
For three years, this visa grants temporary residency and the right to work in a specific regional area.
