POSITION: Business Manager
JOB SUMMARY
The Business Manager, who reports directly to the Firm Lead, is responsible for overseeing the administration and growth of the firm’s recruitment platform. The incumbent will collaborate directly with the business development and recruiting teams to ensure that the expansion and use of the recruitment platform fulfill the needs of the diverse users. He/she will also provide leadership in platform management and administration, assuring the platform’s growth, profitability, and long-term viability.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and implement a medium-term strategic and growth plan for the platform.
- Create talent acquisition strategy and recruiting plans.
- Manage recruiting and talent acquisition initiatives.
- Perform sourcing to fill open roles and forecast future needs.
- Plan and carry out recruitment and selection processes (interviews, screening calls, etc.).
- Organise and/or attend employment fairs, testing centers, and other activities.
- Create and manage an annual budget for platform management and administration.
- Ensure compliance with data protection laws, regulations, and other applicable laws;
- Provide second-level approval for all job postings published to the site, ensuring they match the basic criteria.
- Regularly publish relevant blogs and material for prospective employers and employees.
- Regularly analyze performance and give frequent training to platform administrators.
- Provide upper management with regular reports on the platform’s growth and profitability.
- Ensure a regular review and update of the platform administration handbook.
- Lead promotion of the platform to target institutions, partners, and job seekers.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Skill or Experience
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in human resource management, marketing, management information systems, project management, or a similar discipline;
- Master’s degree is a bonus.
- A minimum of five (5) years of experience in managing recruiting and talent acquisition, preferably in a managerial or leadership role;
- At least five (5) years of experience in human resources or marketing, preferably as the head of business units and organizations;
- A minimum of three (3) years of expertise in digital platform management;
- Business/entrepreneurial attitude;
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to solve problems quickly and effectively.
- Attention to detail.
- Knowledge of HR analytics and proficiency with Microsoft Office software.
- Possess the ability to think “outside the box” and to lead and manage change positively and inclusively, as well as to work well with an ethnic, cultural, and diverse learner community.
