Benefits of Bangor University Scholarships

The GREAT Scholarships 2022 program is provided by Bangor University, the GREAT Britain Campaign, and the British Council. The Scholarship offers £10,000 for the tuition fees for a one-year postgraduate course.

Eligibility Criteria

• To begin with, applicants must be citizens of Ghana or Pakistan
• Secondly, applicants must hold an offer to start a postgraduate program at the University in September 2022.
• Thirdly, applicants must be motivated academically and able to study a postgraduate course.
• Also, applicants must be active in the field with work experience or proven interest in the subject area.
• Finally, applicants must meet the English language requirement of their chosen postgraduate programme.

What We Expect from Applicants:

• To begin with, applicants must attend lectures, tutorials as well as engage in other extra curriculum activities
• Secondly, applicants should be willing to act as an ambassador for Bangor University as well as the UK higher education. Both during their studies and after graduation.
• Thirdly, applicants must be willing to attend a British Council networking event together with other scholars, to discuss and share their experiences.
• Also, successful applicants will be required to live in university-managed accommodation, except in exceptional circumstances.
