Role: Field Specialist – Wellbore Intervention 

We are the best at building wells and getting oil out of them. Our physical and digital innovations improve efficiency, output, and the value of the reservoir as a whole. Our Technical Support Team has a lot of experience planning, delivering, and helping with wellbore interventions before and after jobs. They do this for our wide range of technology products and tools for the oil and gas business.

Join forces with the best Field Specialist – Wellbore Intervention, you will help our field operations and AMO in a very important way. You’ll be an important part of how most wellbore repair applications work. You’ll be based in Ghana for this job.

Responsibilities

As a Field Specialist – Wellbore Intervention, you will be responsible for

• Getting and using the skills needed to run apps in the Wellbore Intervention Product Group that are getting more complicated.
• Wellbore Intervention: Using and expanding knowledge and skills to include uses that are getting more complicated and/or risky.
• making sure the equipment given works with everything else used on the job
• Helps customers face-to-face and fills out all papers correctly before or after the job is done.
• Getting the skills needed to build and manage tools in the Wellbore Intervention Product Group and putting them to use.
• following the product company’s and the corporate’s rules about quality and health and safety within the area of duty

To do well in this job, you’ll need to:

• Have at least a Technical Diploma or show appropriate professional work experience that is equivalent
• Have a lot of experience in the oil and gas business, preferably offshore, with multiple applications in wellbore intervention.
• Have a general understanding of drilling and completion methods, as well as drilling and workover rig operations.
• Show that you can work well with others and talk to them well.
• Use a method that works for you.

The person in this job works with our customers on-site in different places across the region. When you are on-site, you will be able to work in a way that fits with how the customer works. When your projects are done, you will be sent to work at the Baker Hughes AMO center to get ready for your next job on-site.
