POSITION: Commercial Operations and Contract Executive
Job Summary
The successful candidate will work in the AT Business Department as a commercial operations and contracts executive. (S)He will be reporting to the Director of Products and Commercial Marketing.
The role includes overseeing service procurement, bids, and contract administration to ensure compliance with company rules, legal requirements, and regulations. This position is also crucial for generating business growth, increasing customer satisfaction, and ensuring operational efficiency within the AT Business department.
Key Responsibilities
Bidding and Contract Management:
- Create standard sales templates to manage the bidding process.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create compliance proposals.
- Ensure bids meet internal governance and customer standards.
- Plan material, service, and stakeholder delivery timetables for bids and RFPs.
- Interpret partner and customer service contract and tender papers.
- Create, negotiate, and manage contracts (supply, customer, and service contracts, and partnership agreements).
Customer Service Management:
- Create common sales and service acquisition templates to help manage customer demands.
- Work with cross-functional teams to create service and product proposal templates.
- Handle customer requests for telecommunications services (phone, data, SMS, and ICT solutions).
- Coordinate service provisioning to ensure timely delivery.
- Oversee the service provisioning and billing processes for consumers.
- Manage and verify compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
Business Process Management:
- Create, implement, and manage business processes and procedures.
- Determine areas for process improvement and suggest modifications.
- Ensure adherence to corporate processes, and legal, regulatory, and industry standards.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Maintain good relationships with internal and external suppliers and customers.
- Evaluate potential risks, stay current on legislation changes, and keep organized contract records.
- Provide performance information to assist management decision-making.
- Work with cross-functional teams to meet company objectives.
Key KPIs
• Targets include total revenue, base revenue management, acquisition, customer satisfaction, bid win/loss ratio, contract renewal, SLA compliance, and customer retention.
Qualifications & Experience
- A degree or professional qualification in business studies, law, or similar.
- 3–5 years of expertise in telecoms Business Solutions or contract administration • Proven ability to handle bids, negotiate contracts, and administer them.

- Business Acumen: Understands business operations, market trends, and client requirements.
- Contract Management: An understanding of contract rules, regulations, and best practices.
- Bid Management: Experience in bid processes, proposal writing, and tender management.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication, negotiating, and persuasion abilities.
- Analytical Thinking: The ability to examine data, recognize dangers, and devise mitigation plans.
- Project Management: The ability to manage various projects, prioritize activities, and fulfill deadlines.
- Collaboration: The ability to cooperate with cross-functional teams, as well as internal and external stakeholders.
- Integrity: Displays professionalism, ethics, and integrity in all encounters.
Essential Skills:
- Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience with contract management software
- Knowledge of telecom/IT industry (desirable)
- Experience with CRM systems
- Commercial awareness
- Excellent writing, negotiation, and persuasion skills
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
