Documentation Officer
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Handle all import and exports entries and processing.
- Process import Declaration Forms (IDFs). Exemptions and Electronic Ministries. Departments and Agencies (eMDAs) documentations were applicable.
- Ensure the inputting of accurate customs declaration data through the ICUMS- integrated Customs Management System.
- Update clients database and files and ensure proper filing of documents.
- Update all jobs daily and communication with other working staff (i.e. Field Clerks, etc.) on jobs status.
- Liaise with the Field Officers in processing all related documents.
- Offer clients the best of care, service and satisfaction thereby eliminating/reducing customers complaints and creating a positive corporate image.
- Submit weekly and monthly updates/reports.
- Perform administration duties and other jobs that may be assigned as per the set standards of the Company.
REQUIREMENTS
- Diploma/National Higher Diploma/ Advance Diploma or related discipline in Port and Shipping with 3-5 years experience in a similar role.
- Requisite knowledge in the handling of the handling of al Ghana Revenue Authority, Customs Regimes; with spei emphasis on Mining, Oil, and Gas exemption processing.
