The AGA Schools are looking for qualified teachers with experience who can teach in the teaching position below in a secondary school.

1. French Teachers

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include evaluating student skills and creating effective lesson plans and curriculum.

• Teaching students pronunciation and meaning.
• Researching learning resources, language games, and other teaching aids.
• Create a blended learning environment with in-class and online activities.
• Teaching pupils French levels.
• Creating and grading informal and formal written and oral tests.
• Schedule student feedback meetings and provide further support or enrichment.
• Advise pupils on learning and development.
• Conversational classes and entertaining French culture events for students.
• Update records and perform administrative tasks.2. Preschool Teacher

Qualifications and Experience Required

Applicants must possess a Bachelor of Arts in French from a recognized University, preferably University of Cape Coast (UCC) or University of Education, Winneba (UEW).

2. Preschool Teachers 

Duties:

• Teach children basic concepts including colours, alphabet, numbers, and shapes.
• Fostering child socialisation and self-esteem.
• Arts & crafts, guided play, and storytelling are creative learning methods.
• Planning comprehensive early childhood development curriculums.
• Establishing classroom discipline.
• Tracking playground playtime.
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised classroom.
• Gathering supplies and setting up workstations for lessons.
• Communicating with parents to understand children’s homes and minds.
• Reporting each child’s development to parents.

Qualifications and Experience Required

Applicants for the teaching position above must have:

Applicants must hold a degree in early childhood education from a recognised university, particularly the University of Cape Coast (UCC) or the University of Education, Winneba (UEW), or a diploma/degree in Montessori training.
