POSITION: Accountant
Company Description:
Amanex Company Limited is a Free Zones Enterprise based in Oshiyie, off Kokrobite Road in Greater Accra, Ghana. We are a fully licenced manufacturer and trader of home chemicals, specialising in creating and delivering high-quality air fresheners, liquid soaps, perfumes, glass cleaners, alcohol-based hand sanitizers, and shower gels. Our objective is to lead the African market by offering international-standard items at cheap costs.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site position for an accountant. The Accountant will be in charge of handling financial transactions, keeping correct records, creating financial reports, analysing financial data, and making budget recommendations. In addition, the accountant will guarantee that all financial standards and guidelines are followed.
Qualifications
- Qualifications for this position include experience in financial management, accounting, or a similar industry, as well as understanding of accounting concepts and processes.
- Proficiency with accounting software, such as Sage or QuickBooks
- Capability to analyse financial data and create financial reports.
- Proficient at budgeting and forecasting, with a strong focus on accuracy and detail.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
- A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a similar discipline.
- Professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is beneficial.
- Relevant skills and credentials for the post include manufacturing industry expertise and knowledge of Ghana’s tax laws and regulations.
