Academy of International Affairs – NRW Fellowships 2024–2025 (Germany): Call for Applications
Fellowships in international politics, particularly the geopolitics of space, are available from the Academy of International Affairs NRW.
Description of the scholarship:
Senior and junior researchers with a Ph.D. degree from any academic area are eligible for the fellowships, as are professionals from a variety of industries, including diplomatic services, politics, media, business, and civil society.
The scholarships at the AIA NRW in Bonn will continue for three to ten months. The application deadline is July 1, 2023, and interested applicants can apply for the fellowships for the period of April 2024 to March 2025.
The purpose of the Academy of International Affairs (AIA NRW) is to actively contribute to transforming the effects of global developments and problems and to safeguard the future for future generations. The AIA NRW invites outstanding persons from academia, politics, and civil society to get together and consider fresh directions and solutions for the future in order to accomplish this.
INTERNATIONAL PRIORITY SCHOLARSHIPS IPS 2023–24 FULLY FUNDED (INDONESIA)
An international and interdisciplinary fellowship program that provides exceptional individuals with the chance to spend several months in Bonn, Germany, is the foundation of the AIA NRW. The Federal State of North-Rhine Westphalia provides full funding for the AIA NRW, an impartial fellowship institute.

Benefits of the scholarship
The Academy enters into a unique arrangement with every Fellow that takes into consideration the financial condition at their home school. The Fellows are not expected to experience any financial hardship as a result of their stay in Bonn.
Offering a monthly stipend or paying for a replacement to perform one’s job are both acceptable solutions. The Academy also pays for lodging while in residence as well as transportation to and from Bonn.

Eligibility Requirements
First, the Academy of International Affairs NRW encourages applicants who are conducting research in the Academy’s topic area across all disciplines. Applications from science and technology studies are welcome, as long as they address pertinent concerns of social dynamics. This includes political science, legal studies, economics, history, sociology, and philosophy.
Although younger researchers and scientists (having at least a degree) are also addressed, the primary audience is established university faculty. Experts with professional experience in the areas of politics, diplomacy, business, NGOs, and the media are eligible for short-term fellowships. The interaction between research and practice as well as the practical application of scientific results are the main points of this discussion.
Application Process:
An international academic board chooses the Fellows. To apply, you must submit publications, a CV, and a list of publications in addition to a brief description of the research project you plan to conduct at the Academy.
