Description of the scholarship:
For aspiring international students, La Trobe University provides the ELICOS scholarship. This scholarship is intended for students who want to enroll in La Trobe College Australia’s (LTCA) English for Further Studies (ELICOS) course before continuing on to La Trobe University for an undergraduate or graduate degree.
The ELICOS program aims to give students the language proficiency they need to be successful in an Australian academic environment.

The English for Further Studies (ELICOS) course, which aims to improve language proficiency for academic success, is eligible for the award. The course covers academic reading, listening, taking notes, giving presentations, speaking in front of an audience, writing academic essays and reports, critical analysis, and critical thinking.
