Ghana Communication Technology University (formerly Ghana Technology University College) invites applications for faculty appointments at all of its campuses; Accra, Kumasi, Koforidua, Ho.

ROLE :

• Professor,
• Associate Professor,
• Senior Lecturer,
• Lecturer,
• Assistant Lecturer

RESPONSIBILITY :

Lecturing and faculty related duties

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE :

(i) Professor

1. Must possess a Ph.D. in the relevant area of specialization;
2. Must have served as Associate Professor for a period of at least THREE (3) years
3. Must have conducted original research out of which they have a minimum number of ten (10) with at least eight (8) of the publications in refereed journals.
4. Must provide appreciable evidence of university, community, national, international and professional service that merit appointment to the rank.

(ii) Associate Professor

1. Must possess a Ph.D. in the relevant area of specialization
2. Must have served as Senior Lecturer or equivalent grade for a minimum of FOUR years.
3. Must have conducted original research out of which they have a minimum number of eight (8) with at least six (6) of the publications in refereed journals
4. Must provide appreciable evidence of university, community, national, international and professional service that merit appointment to the rank

(iii) Senior Lecturer

1. Must possess a Ph.D. in the relevant area of specialization
2. Must have served as Lecturer, or their equivalent for a minimum of FOUR years
3. Must have conducted original research out of which they have a minimum number of six (6) with at least four (4) publications in refereed journals
4. Must provide appreciable evidence of university, community, national, international and professional service that merit appointment to the rank

(iv) Lecturer

1. Must possess a Ph.D. in the relevant area of specialization

(v) Assistant Lecturer

1. Must possess an MPhil. OR Researched Masters in relevant areas of specialization and must have enrolled on Ph.D. Programme
