Aalto University Scholarships for International Students (Finland)

The academic year 2022–2023 Incentive Scholarships are now available from Aalto University. Both new and seasoned international students may apply to the program.

The available incentive scholarships are entirely merit-based opportunities for students who have completed at least 60 ECTS credits of coursework in accordance with their academic study plan for a calendar year.

Requirements

• All students are eligible, regardless of their country of residence.
• All courses and subjects at the undergraduate and graduate levels are acceptable.

The following requirements must be met by candidates in order to be considered:

• The tuition for the student’s chosen program of study at Aalto University should be paid in full or in part.

Scholarship Advantages

• Under the incentive-based scholarship program at Aalto University, the chosen students will receive fee waivers totaling 1,500 EUR.

• Depending on the field of study they have chosen, students must follow the university’s application guidelines.

Supporting Records

The following paperwork must be submitted by the students:

• Transcript Records
• A copy of your ID or passport,
• a CV

The students must get a minimum SAT score of 1300 in order to be accepted at Aalto University.

The following examinations, with the minimum marks required by the university, must be submitted by students as proof of their proficiency in the language:

• IELTS Academic score of 6.5 and Writing score of 5.5
• TOEFL – IBT (Internet-based Test): 92; PDT (Paper-delivered Test); reading; listening; and writing; and PDT (Internet-based Test).
• C1 Advanced – A, B, or C (formerly known as the Cambridge Certificate in Advanced English (CAE))
• C2 Proficiency – A, B, C, or Level C1 (formerly known as the Cambridge Certificate of Proficiency in English (CPE))
• Writing scores of 54 and 62 on the Pearson Test of English Academic (PTE A)
