POSITION: Senior Accountant

Job Overview
We seek a highly qualified and experienced Senior Accountant to become part of our accounting team and manage all areas of financial accounting, reporting, and compliance. The ideal candidate will possess a solid foundation in financial accounting, outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to thrive in a high-pressure setting.
Main Duties
- Accurate reconciliation of customer accounts without supervision.
- Carry out physical stock counts and reconciliations for warehouses and depots.
- Supervise and handle the general ledger, guaranteeing that correct entries are recorded.
- Examine and track accounts for inconsistencies or anomalies.
- Oversee and enhance internal control measures to protect company resources.
- Oversee junior accountants, offering direction and instruction.
- Assist in team growth, guaranteeing compliance with best practices and fostering professional advancement.
- Compile financial reports for management on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
- Conduct financial assessments and provide reports on essential financial indicators.
Required Qualifications, Skills, and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Accounting (mandatory)
- A Master’s degree in Accounting or being a CA is a beneficial plus.
- At least 7 years of experience in finance and accounting.
- Expertise in Microsoft Excel is essential.
- Should be prepared to start right away.
- Outstanding focus on details and analytical abilities.
- Robust communication and organizational abilities.
- Strong commitment to integrity and confidentiality.
- Analytical reasoning and effective problem resolution.
