POSITION: HR Officer
Company Profile
SkyNet Express Ltd, a completely Ghanaian-owned delivery service, was formed in February 2007 as a Limited Liability Company and has functioned since its inception. The company is properly registered with all relevant government bodies, including the Postal and Courier Services Regulatory Commission of Ghana, the Social Security and National Insurance Trust (SSNIT), Value Added Tax (VAT), and the Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA).
Duties
- Coordinate and supervise the administration of employee licenses, health insurance, vehicle roadworthiness, and vehicle & motor insurance, among others.
- Ensure the operational efficiency of office resources and acquire new devices.
- Help with the arrangement of corporate events.
- Create training initiatives for employees to improve their operational effectiveness and adherence to work protocols.
- Create successful onboarding programs for new employees.
- Track and evaluate the advancement of trainees via assessments, surveys, and conversations with supervisors, and offer trainees prompt and beneficial feedback.
- Alter and update programs as needed to adjust to shifts happening in the workplace and industry advancements.
- Assist line managers and trainers in addressing particular training issues, whether individually or within groups.
- Track employee attendance and verify adherence to the organization’s attendance policy.
- Consistently assess and review employee performance.
- Offer guidance and evaluation to improve personal and group effectiveness.
- Work together with HR teams to ensure performance goals match the organization’s aims.
Required Skills or Experience
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management/ BA in Psychology/ Organizational Psychology or similar disciplines.
- Over 5 years of experience in increasingly responsible human resource positions (ideally in the Logistics or Courier Industry).
- Having an HR certification is beneficial.
