POSITION: Global Change Manager III
Position Summary
In the effort to enhance our ministry’s Change Management skills, the Global Change Partner contributes enthusiasm, commitment, and an international viewpoint. They will enhance our global change management skills by leveraging expert knowledge and fostering relationships.
This person will take on the role of Change Manager for significant projects/initiatives and will also enhance the development of global change capabilities. They will act as a reliable ally in change management for Compassion’s worldwide staff and partners, promoting change awareness, acceptance, and sustainability.
Responsibilities
- Cultivate a personal connection with Jesus Christ. Be a steady ambassador for Jesus Christ, exhibiting a polite, Christ-like demeanour when interacting with individuals both within and outside of Compassion, and diligently support Compassion’s mission through prayer.
- Support and participate in Compassion’s fundamental Cultural Behaviours.
- Seek coaching and advice from a Senior Change Manager to enhance individual understanding of effective Change Management practices, particularly emphasizing Compassion’s AGAPE model.
- Collaborate with the Sr. Change Manager to develop change capabilities, encompassing methodology and processes for project members, stakeholders, Compassion leadership, and additional change agents.
- Listen to and develop reliable connections that “link” the US-based and international communities.
- Hear and foresee stakeholder requirements and areas of resistance, aiming to create trustworthy relationships and solutions that facilitate the effective and efficient execution of enterprise projects.
- Collaborate intimately with Project Management, Communications, and Learning Services (Training) to outline, enhance, and provide a cohesive experience throughout key strategic initiatives.
- Leverage cross-cultural perspectives from Compassion’s worldwide team and partners by establishing robust collaboration and partnerships with essential stakeholders in every area and region.
- Act as a thought leader and take initiative to foresee and reduce risks.
- Collaborate with essential stakeholders to develop and consistently enhance a robust Compassion change management approach.
Requirements
- Worldwide insight into Compassion’s Change Management techniques, instruments, and approaches.
- Over 5 years of increasingly responsible experience involving a mix of business transformation, process enhancement, communication, and/or project management experience.
- Over a decade of professional experience.
- Readiness to adapt in order to support international collaborations.
- Capacity to coincide with standard United States Mountain Time working hours (8 am-5 pm) by around 3–4 hours daily.
- Proficient in engaging with and understanding diverse cultures and relationships.
- You exhibit leadership by guiding through influence and teamwork, recognizing how change initiatives affect work capacity and personnel, and showing awareness and sensitivity to diverse cultures.
- Your relationship with Jesus Christ is your top priority, and you embody your discipleship as a leader and team member.
- You contribute a strong sense of emotional intelligence, compassion, and honesty to your job and your leadership of others.
- Complete mastery of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel)
- Proficiency in English is necessary
- Preferably relevant CM certification (CCMP, PROSCI, etc.).
