POSITION: LCS Bus Driver
Position Summary/Objective:
The LCS Bus Driver is tasked with the secure transport of LCS children to and from the educational institution to their homes.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operate the school bus carefully, taking children to and from school to their homes as per the bus timetable, and perform other driving tasks related to the school.
- Accountable for maintaining the children’s safety and security at all times.
- Accountable for operating the vehicle in compliance with all traffic laws.
- Accountable for making sure that all issues with the vehicle are quickly communicated.
- Tasked with performing necessary vehicle inspections each day.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Certificate of completion for secondary school or its equivalent
- Valid driver’s license (At least a C class)
Experience, Competencies, and Capabilities:
- At least 5 years of professional driving experience with a company.
- At least 3 years of experience operating a Class C vehicle or bigger.
- An understanding of health and safety regulations as a bus operator.
- Experience in delivering customer service in any role.
- Proficiency in the English language – reading, writing, and expressing ideas.
- An understanding of child-related road safety rules.
- Background in handling customer complaints.
- Outstanding interpersonal abilities; capacity to collaborate with parents, colleagues, and all other school personnel.
- Proven experience in following guidelines and policies.
The salary package for this role is competitive; compensation will be based on applicable experience and credentials.
