POSITION: Medical Delegate Nutrition
Qualifications: Holder of a degree in BSc Dietetics/Nutrition, Nursing, Marketing, and Business Management.
Experience: 2 years of experience as a Medical Delegate or a representative within the pharmaceutical sector. Familiarity with data handling via a digital device and intermediate skills in MS Excel are necessary.
Role Overview
To obtain endorsement and promotion of Nestlé Infant Nutrition (NIN) products among Health Care Professionals and Institutions. Accountable for ethical and science-driven promotion of Nestle Infant Nutrition items during the first 1000 days.
Resonsibilities
Product and concept specifications in the designated area:
- Utilize advanced professional negotiation skills and draw on relevant product knowledge, concepts, and research to effectively explain the NIN range to healthcare professionals (HCPs).
Territory management
- Oversee the designated area of approximately 250 – 300 healthcare professionals, including HCIs, within the assigned region.
- Accomplishment of field force efficiency according to Master data management/HCP classification/HCP and HCI segmentation, planning of master schedules, HCP call frequency, call success rate, and implementation of territory action plans.
- Implementation of “hybrid/remote engagement model.”
Compliance
- Utilization of the Code Management system to direct adherence to compliance for all daily tasks, aiding the leadership team in ensuring that all activities within the team and region align with the WHO International Code for marketing Breastmilk substitutes, Nestle Instructions, and the local Code.
Advocacy:
- Enhance advocacy for Nestle Infant Nutrition products and Nestle Nutrition services by utilizing the developed functional competency skills and key account management while communicating with HCPs and HCIs.
- Pursue and cultivate strategic connections with important individuals in both the private and public sectors.
- Promoting recommendations and support at an institutional level and among healthcare professionals.
Qualifications Required and Experience
- Holder of a degree in BSc Dietetics/Nutrition, Nursing, Marketing, and Business Management.
- 2 years of experience in the role of Medical Delegate or as a representative in the pharmaceutical sector.
- Familiarity with data handling via a digital device and intermediate knowledge of MS Excel is necessary.
- Required to possess a valid driver’s license.
- Must have the ability to communicate in English fluently—knowing other languages is advantageous.
- Should possess strong abilities in planning, organizing, communicating, and negotiating.
- Should be capable of working autonomously, proactive, focused on solutions, flexible, and goal-oriented.
- Should be open to traveling (including excursions away from home).
- Proficient in computers, MS Office, intermediate in MS Excel with experience in data analysis.
- Familiarity with online interaction.
