POSITION: Warehouse Assistant
Company Overview
Electrical Switchgear Limited (ESL) is a company based in Ghana that manufactures electrical panels. We create and construct low-voltage main distribution and control panels for industrial, commercial, and residential uses.
Position Summary
The main duty of the Warehouse Assistant is to aid in the overall logistics and inventory control. Operations inside the warehouse and guaranteeing the seamless operation and execution of all warehouse tasks.
CRUCIAL TASKS & ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Selecting and organizing MRNs
- Preparing items for retail customers at headquarters
- Warehouse maintenance – cleanup and packaging.
- Executing transfers from one warehouse to another.
- Accept deliveries at the storage facility.
- Executing transfers from warehouse to retail
- Select and prepare Transfer and Sales Orders requests.
- Carrying out additional warehouse tasks as required.
OHSE DUTIES
- Familiarity with and compliance to all of TAGG’s OHS&E protocols.
- Adhere to all safety protocols, regulations, and guidelines associated with your tasks.
- Identifying and reporting hazards
- Evaluation of Risk
- Understanding the safe usage of all relevant tools and equipment
QUALIFICATION REQUIRED & EXPERIENCE
- A Senior Secondary School Certificate (SSSCE/WASSCE)
- Having a minimum of 2 years of experience in a comparable position is a valuable benefit.
