Job Description
An Ultramodern Dental Clinic in East Legon, Accra seeking motivated, diligent individuals to join our expanding team.
Position Overview
This is a full-time in-person position for a Dental Assistant at Right Dental Care located in Accra. The Dental Assistant will assist the dentist in patient care, ensure dental equipment is maintained, sterilize instruments, and offer chair-side support. The position also includes educating patients about oral hygiene and helping with administrative duties.
Major Duties
- Responding to calls and arranging meetings
- Revising and preserving dental records for patients.
- Supervising patient registration processes
- Programming and organizing insurance documents
- Organizing referral and testing appointments
- General office management
- Escorting patients to their examination rooms
- Getting patients ready for treatments and/or operations
- Aiding with processes like fillings, crowns, and extractions.
- Creating dental molds
- Disinfecting dental instruments and devices
- Clean-up after the procedure
- Typically, assisting dentists and hygienists at the chairside.
Requirements
- Nurse with a Certificate, Diploma, or Degree
- Willing to learn and embrace feedback
- Outstanding communication and relationship-building abilities.
- Capability to collaborate efficiently in a team setting.
- Focus on specifics and ability to organize.
