Purchasing Supervisor Needed at Sunda International
The Purchasing Supervisor will oversee the procurement and distribution of the organizations equipment, supplies, and services.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- To begin with, Recruits, interviews, hires, and trains new staff.
- Then, Directs the daily workflow and schedules of the department, coordinating staff involved in purchasing, selling, and distributing supplies, machinery, materials, or equipment.
- Also, Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.
- Besides the above, Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Firstly, Drafts and/or reviews supply and service specifications.
- Secondly, Evaluates bids, ensuring compliance with departmental and company policies and procedures.
- Thirdly, Distributes purchasing information to involved parties including vendors, sales representatives, and employees.
- Moreover, Reviews and evaluates purchase request forms for accuracy and completeness.
- Additionally, Gathers, records, and completes purchase data.
- Finally, Completes other related projects as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Thorough understanding of purchasing procedures and policies.
- Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to read, interpret, and explain policies and procedures used in purchasing.
- Lastly, Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelors degree in related field required.
- At least five years of experience in related field required.
