POSITION: Mobile, VAS Products and Presales Manager
Job Summary:
- The chosen person will become a Manager for Mobile, VAS Products, and Presales in the AT Business Department.
- (S)He will report to the Director of Products and Marketing.
- The person will help the business earn more money by being good at creating products, managing their development and performance, overseeing projects, and providing support before sales.
- The Mobile, VAS Products, and Presales Manager will look at and create solutions, and take care of existing ones to make sure all solutions are available in the AT Business Solutions Portfolio.
- Also, they will share useful information and analysis to help the team with planning for the future.
Main Tasks
Product Management
- Create new ideas for products in AT Business services using market research and competitor information, and show how these ideas can make money.
- Oversee the creation of new products and services while staying within set costs and quality standards.
- Take care of products and services that are currently available, looking at how much money they make or lose.
- Use financial information to decide whether to invest more in a product or stop offering it.
- Oversee removing a product, making sure there are other options for customers, that there is a clear plan for moving to new services, and that everyone is informed about the changes.
- Collaborate with the Finance team to create a competitive price that meets the agreed profit margins for all new and existing products and services.
- Work together on marketing to create clear messages about products, services, and the brand.
Presales Support
- Offer technical help and support to the sales team before a sale, which includes answering requests for proposals and information, and making tailored solutions for customers.
- Learn and keep track of what customers need, what’s happening in the industry, and what competitors are doing to find ways to grow the business.
- Work together with different teams like sales, marketing, and product development to create and provide customized solutions that satisfy what customers want.
- Create and update materials like information sheets, slideshows, and examples to help the sales team.
- Give ideas to help create sales plans and actions that increase revenue.
Sales Support
- Help the sales team create sales proposals, give presentations, and finish sales deals.
- Help the sales team make sure that we always provide customers with the right solutions for their needs.
- Help fix customer problems and make sure they always get the service they want.
Key KPIs
- Total money goal Basic revenue management
- Reaching the goal of buying something
- Goal for keeping customers happy
- Measurements for presales help (like how often we answer RFPs, create sales materials, and engage with customers)
Needed Skills and Experience
- A university degree in any subject, especially in computer science, telecommunications, electrical engineering, or similar areas.
- At least five (5) years of related experience in creating attractive commercial and pricing offers (required) in the telecom industry.
- Experience in telecom or IT services is helpful.
- Experienced in dealing directly with customers.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-changing setting, like a big company restructuring or a new business.
- Knowledge of advanced Excel (like Pivot tables and Macros) is very important.
Key Skills
- The candidate should really care about the customers.
- Great at talking and writing, both with people inside and outside the company.
- Strong Excel skills with good modeling abilities (familiar with macros, Visual Basic, or any programming language).
- Very good understanding of products, particularly in the business market and the communication industry.
- Basic ideas for managing customer value
- Great communication and presentation skills to build trust with stakeholders.
- Can come up with new and creative ideas to solve a customer’s needs.
- Driven and eager to succeed
- Can motivate myself and work well with little supervision.
- Great at building strong relationships and can earn the trust of customers, partners, and sales managers.
- Speed: Should be able to adapt quickly to changes and handle uncertainty.
- Can plan and organize work and time to handle new demands and tight deadlines.
- Good at noticing small things, but okay with making decisions quickly using the 80/20 rule.
- Reliable by being able to meet expectations and deliver on time.
