POSITION: Physics & Mathematics Teacher
Position Overview
To provide exceptional teaching in IGCSE and A Level Physics and Mathematics following the Cambridge curriculum, encouraging critical thinking and problem-solving abilities while assisting students in reaching their academic objectives and equipping them for advanced education and careers in finance and business.
Main Duties
Curriculum Implementation
- Create and present captivating lessons that adhere to the syllabus standards of the Cambridge IGCSE and A Level.
- Guarantee comprehensive coverage of essential subjects, such as financial accounting, management accounting, and fundamental principles of business finance.
- Incorporate practical examples and case studies to improve student comprehension.
Evaluation and Feedback for Students:
- Create and implement both formative and summative evaluations, such as tasks, tests, coursework, and practice exams.
- Offer prompt and helpful feedback to aid students in enhancing their comprehension and performance.
- Keep precise and thorough documentation of student progress.
Assistance for Students:
- Recognize and cater to personal learning requirements to promote educational advancement.
- Provide extra academic assistance via remedial classes or mentorship programs.
- Motivate students to investigate professions in accounting, finance, and business.
Classroom Administration:
- Create a positive and respectful educational atmosphere.
- Effectively handle classroom behavior to guarantee a safe and supportive environment for learning.
- Enforce school regulations regarding student behavior and involvement.
Resource Advancement:
- Develop and manage educational resources, such as online tools, practice exercises, and case studies.
- Stay informed about developments in accounting education and integrate appropriate resources into the curriculum.
Working Together and Career Growth:
- Engage proactively in department meetings and school-wide projects.
- Participate in ongoing professional growth to remain updated on advancements in accounting education and teaching methods.
- Work together with coworkers to maintain uniform teaching standards.

Necessary Skills or Experience
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Physics, Mathematics, Statistics, or a comparable discipline.
- A valid teaching credential (e.g., PGCE) or similar certification is required.
- A master’s degree in a related area is an additional benefit.
Experience:
- Demonstrated experience instructing Accounts at IGCSE and A Level in an international school environment.
- Knowledge of Cambridge curriculum standards and evaluation methods.
- Experience in incorporating technology into the classroom to improve educational results.
Abilities:
- Comprehensive understanding of accounting principles and concepts.
