POSITION: Consumer Engagement Associate
Minimum educational requirement: University degree (e.g., marketing, business studies, communications, journalism, media studies, psychology) [3-5 years of university experience is allowed].
Minimum Relevant Work Experience: 2 to 4 years of experience in a similar job or Marketing function at Nestlé or a comparable FMCG.

Nestlé CWAR is now searching for a Consumer Engagement Associate who will be responsible for call center activities, monitoring paid and organic content on digital and social media channels, and identifying and responding to conversations and trends. Will also collect, structure, and analyze data from various sources to assist Brands and Functions with reputation management, consumer interaction, and social insights. Manage a creative content calendar and post it on social media networks.
Your Responsibilities
- Respond to phone calls, emails, and social media communications to collect consumer information.
- Ensure that all relevant data is properly recorded, processed, labeled/tagged, and formatted in the appropriate digital and media analytics tool.
- Monitoring paid and organic content, effectively monitoring and responding to content-related conversations, and recognizing patterns.
- Omnichannel analysis to deliver data-driven conclusions in reports/dashboards/presentations to address business questions, such as a social brand equity report, measurement of owned digital and social channels, analysis of marketing campaign performance, and analysis and insight into the brand ecosystem.
- Support for ad hoc business needs such as data pulls, data formatting, and analysis.
- Crisis listening to identify potential reputational hazards and prompt warning of relevant Functions/Brands to help prevent issue escalation and provide assistance with issue management.
- Monitoring owned social media channels and forwarding consumer posts to relevant Consumer Engagement teams in the Markets.
- Standard Routines are updated depending on the assignment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on the day-to-day implementation of analytics projects and initiatives.
What Will Make You Successful?
- Excellent verbal communication, phone, listening, interpersonal, and data entry abilities.
- Highly experienced Community Management expertise, +1 year (successful achievement of social media KPIs such as reaction time, tone, and lead generation).
- Experience working with creative agency briefs (ability to execute the brief)
- Knowledgeable about food business difficulties and developments.
- Experience with content production is an extra bonus (personal or professional).
- Knowledge of English plus at least one additional language, such as native French, Zulu, Sotho, Portuguese, or Wolof.
- Solid awareness of how social media networks operate (Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, and YouTube).
- Understanding the major features of social media listening tools (Social Studio, Social Bakers, Sprinklr, Talk Walker, Google Analytics, or similar).
- Ability to work with huge amounts of data from various sources, as well as a fundamental understanding of data kinds and structures.
- Excel knowledge (table organization, simple chart creation, sorting, filtering, conditional formatting, and so on).
- Basic data visualization and presenting skills.
- Microsoft Word and PowerPoint are both used with confidence.
- An analytical mindset is essential.
- Experience with analytical activities (work-related or academic) is a bonus.
