Job Description
We are looking for a skilled accountant to join our team. The Accountant will be responsible for accurately recording and managing financial transactions, as well as maintaining financial records for BOS Engineering and its associates. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of accounting principles, outstanding organizational abilities, and a keen sense of detail.
Responsibilities
- Manage and record financial transactions such as quotations, invoices, payments, and costs.
- Conduct bank reconciliation regularly and ensure financial statements are accurate.
- Create and submit financial reports as needed, such as profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Provide assistance with external audits and participate in internal audit initiatives.
- Manage vendor records, reconcile statements, and resolve payment problems.
- Process employee payroll and other required payments.
- Ensure tax compliance by filing tax returns and handling tax-related documentation.
Qualifications
- Hold a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related profession.
- Accounting qualification is a bonus.
- At least three years experience in accounting or finance.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles, processes, and regulations.
- Proficiency with computerized accounting software (QuickBooks) and the Microsoft Office Suite, notably Excel.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with tax rules and compliance
